Centennial Lodge and Rose Garden Wedding at Queens Park in New Westminster

John & Meaghan had a small and intimate Centennial Lodge and Rose Garden Wedding at Queens Park in July. This is a great New Westminster wedding venue because couples can have a ceremony and reception all in one place. We’ve been here a few times, including for Ryan & Angela’s Wedding.

Although it was a cloudy day this couple brought sunshine to their day with a colourful wedding scheme. Sunflowers and floral dresses for the bridesmaids added the perfect pop of colour to this grey day. After getting ready at the Inn at the Quay, the bride and groom kicked their day off with a first look on the pier at New Westminster Quay. Their ceremony at the Rose Garden in Queens Park was short and sweet, but meaningful. John comes from New Zealand, so the couple decided to tie their country’s flags together in a symbolic tying of the knot.

The couple enjoyed a romantic twinkle light lit reception at Centennial Lodge. Heartfelt speeches, delicious cupcakes, a hilarious shoe game and dancing filled the evening. We can’t think of a better place to have a romantic New Westminster wedding.
