Well it’s hard to believe, it seems like a few days ago we announced that we were expecting, but at the end of this month I will be “going off on maternity leave!” I put quotations on that because technically while I will not be shooting anymore sessions until the summer I will still be busy processing sessions, designing albums & thank you cards and of course helping my summer brides & grooms to plan their wedding photography schedules while I’m off.
I’m astounded at how quickly this pregnancy has passed (now that I’m at the end of it… somewhere around the 20th week I was starting to feel like I was going to be pregnant forever!)
Last night Brad and I headed out to UBC and took a couple of silhouettes against the sunset to highlight my big belly. I’ve been wanting to shoot something like this for awhile now. Originally I wanted to have a scarf in the photograph as well but unfortunately the evening air was totally still and my scarf couldn’t catch any wind so I had to settle for standing out on a rock all by my lonesome! Brad hasn’t done a ton of shooting lately (mostly cause he’s been so busy with the photobooth) but I think he did a pretty bang up job! I thought I’d share one of them!
