Dairy Farm Engagement Session | Chris + Chrissy

We were super stoked to shoot Chris & Chrissy’s engagement session at their friend’s private dairy farm. This is a special location to Chris & Chrissy where they spend a lot of time with their pup Dixie, and as cool as it is to shoot at locations like this we do try to shoot at locations that are actually meaningful to couples opposed to just choosing places that look cool.
When we scoped out the farm prior to the shoot, one of the owners Ryan told us we could go up in a cherry picker if we wanted – which instantly gave me about 100 different cool shots I wanted to take. Of course we didn’t have time for 100 different shots, which was well enough because being up in a cherry picker on a windy day is actually really effing terrifying.  That being said, if you don’t shoot fearlessly, you certainly don’t create anything interesting, so I was very grateful to Ryan for allowing us to shoot from such a cool perspective.

I’m super stoked to shoot these guys’ wedding at the Chiliwack Corn Maze later on this year. I have no doubts it will be a complete blast. :)
