YASSSSS! Our gorgeous bride Leann (and her handsome groom Doug, too!) we’re featured on Buzzfeed in the fall. (we’re just late to the blogging game!)
It is SO GOOD to see curvy beautiful brides in the limelight! As a curvy girl myself, I really struggle with the fact that you don’t see too many curvy or plus sized women in the media, and it can really make you feel like there is something wrong with you and that you need to change somehow. I really appreciate this shift in the media around weddings lately to being more inclusive! I want to see more LGBTQ/poly weddings, more variety in body shapes and sizes, more variety in differently abled bodies. Love comes in SO many different shapes and forms, each is uniquely beautiful and I want to start celebrating how beautiful and unique love is, rather than feeling like love and weddings need to conform to specific standards. FUCK YES for inclusiveness!
