Vancouver Wedding Photographer | Animals at Weddings & Engagements

If there are two unpredictable elements I love at weddings its kids and animals. Animals at weddings in particular, make for the best pictures because nothing is really planned with them and everything is honest.

I also really love documenting the relationships people have with their pets / animals at weddings and during their engagement sessions. Animals are such a part of the family! I’ve also observed how having access to a roaming pet at a wedding can really put guests who struggle with social anxiety at ease. I myself, am definitely the introvert who will be petting the cat in the corner at a party – so I totally get it.

A tip for all the animal lovers out there: A great eco-friendly favor idea is to make a donation to a local animal shelter and let guests know you’ve given the gift on their behalf for sharing your beautiful day together.
