Tri-cities Wedding Photographer | Minnekhada Engagement Session

We were already excited to work with Kim & Jim before the engagement session. We spent so much time laughing with them during our first consultation. To us, that a good sign that we’ve made an awesome connection. Making a good connection is key for creating beautiful wedding images. Despite the fact that the Love Tree Photography studio is in New Westminster we actually live in Port Coquitlam. That technically  makes us a tri-cities wedding photographer. We are super excited that a ton of our clients this year also live in the tri-cities area near us. That means we can develop friendships with those who choose to befriend us – and that ALWAYS means amazing wedding pictures.We really develop a relationship with each couple and learn the dynamics of their relationship.

Not every couple is super touchy feely, or feels comfortable with public displays of affection. Some couples are very affectionate in front of the camera. Engagement sessions are a great time to feel out the general comfort level, so that everyone feels really confident on the day of the actual wedding.

Since we all live about 5 minutes from this lake it was a no-brainer to shoot their engagement session at Minnekhada Region Park in Port Coquitlam.
