Sunset Engagement Session at Pacific Spirit

I’m a bit behind on posts, but trying to catch up!

Irene & Felix were pretty anti-engagement session when we met – neither loved having their pictures taken so they were feeling pretty apprehensive about being photographed. The couple also booked us back in 2019 and actually had to postpone their wedding not only once, but twice due to covid so they didn’t actually get married until 2022! What a bummer!

Having anxiety about getting your portraits taken is something that is so common and we hear it a lot from the couples we work with. Of the 300+ weddings we’ve documented we’ve only ever had 1 bride that did professional modeling – so it makes sense that most couples feel a little apprehensive. That said we pride ourselves on capturing people as they are, in their best light even when they are feeling camera shy!

Anyways here is their engagement sessions – tell us how you think they did considering they were so anxious about getting their portraits taken? We think they did great!
