Sneak Peek | Eco-Friendly Wedding on Twisted Vine Farm

Earlier this year Brad and I caught the ferry and headed over to The Twisted Vine Farm in Duncan, BC, for my best friend’s wedding. Aaron was my own man-of-honour at our wedding, so already I was pretty invested in the day, but I became even more so when I learned that Aaron & Isle were taking their passion for environmental issues to a whole new level as they celebrated their love. Twisted Vine Farm is a self sustaining homestead farm in Duncan, where three families co-own land where they grown their own vegetables, fruits, herbs, spices, and raise chickens. It is a truly inspiring place to be, with everything from cob homes to compostable toilets these guys are really setting the bar for what kind of beauty can be achieved when people come together and live in unison with nature. With food, flowers, and decor all locally sourced, gathered, rented, recycled and/or repurposed, Aaron & Isle proved that there is no reason to be wasteful when it comes to weddings.
