North Vancouver Wedding Photographer | Blair + Sarah

On August 27th I joined Blair & Sarah for a beautiful backyard wedding at Blair’s parent’s home in North Vancouver. The North Vancouver wedding was nestled in amongst the trees in Lynn Valley and was the perfect setting for the very intimate ceremony and reception. With only their closest friends and family the couple exchanged self-written vows before sealing the deal with a kiss (and a little paperwork). :)

After the ceremony we shot some family portraits in the front yard area before heading over to Lynn Headwaters to shoot some group shots. We shot our more formal stuff first before getting to the fun stuff – this brave group headed out into the river with all their formal attire to cool their feet off and get some great portraits. After our toes were cold and shriveled we headed back to the house for some touching toasts, the cutting of their very decadent cake, and a buffet of delectable appetizers. Blair, accompanied by his bagpiping troupe (http://irishpipesanddrums.com) played a few songs for the guests before joining his new wife, Sarah on the dance floor for their first dance.
