Langley Wedding Photographer | Private Residence Wedding
Our wonderful bride Sara might have said it best this year:
“My friends keep asking me what is the theme of your wedding? I said weddings are supposed to have themes? The theme is wedding.”
Cam & Sara’s wedding was so wonderful to document because rather than getting caught up in a bunch of tiny details that didn’t carry any long term significance for them, they planned their wedding with the idea that their relationship came first and foremost, and didn’t lose sight of the fact that their wedding was a celebration of their love.
The day started off with the two getting ready in the same home, Sara upstairs and Cam below but the two were careful not to see each other. They exchanged love letters from either side of a door frame before heading outside to share a quiet intimate moment together before their wedding. They had their first look on a pretty little dock Cam had built with his family.
This year I’ve definitely shed a few tears from behind the camera, and this was no exception especially as these two exchanged very personal and emotional vows in Cam’s parent’s backyard in front of their closest friends and family. After we wrapped up our family portraits we headed over the Langley Golf & Banquet Centre to eat, dance, and celebrate!
Despite a little rain it was an absolutely perfect day!
Big thanks for Christine Williams for helping out so Brad could run the photobooth!
