Phew! 9 trying months, 26 hours of labour, and an emergency c-section later our sweet baby girl has finally arrived!
We are overjoyed to welcome Tia Naomi into our family. She was born at 1:22 am on April 29th at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver. She weighted 6lbs 13oz and measured at 51cm.
She is healthy, happy, and thriving newborn, and has already put on over a pound since we brought her home from the hospital. Brad and I are recovering too and getting used to a new sleep schedule (which basically consists of little to no sleep at the moment!) She truly is a blessing. Below are a few images from our birth journey and of our little girl.
We were blessed to have Jillian Kirby photograph our beautiful baby girl at her workshop this week.
Congratulations you guys! She’s beautiful, and my daughter especially loves the shot of her in the shell!! Good work growing that baby Kendra!
PS. I did 36 hours and an emergency c-section with Jayla, I know how hard it is!

Congratulations, what a sweetie! And I love her name. Can we use her as a tickle trunk prop?
Thanks Anna! We’d put her in the tickle trunk but we’re not sure we’d get her back – she’s just too much fun!
