Vancouver Portrait Photographer | Caileigh
Yesterday I was lucky enough to be able to photograph someone who is very dear to my heart – my good friend Caileigh.
Caileigh is the wonderful artist who designed our new logo when we made the switch over from Redivivus Photography to Love Tree Photography.
I’m actually quite shy when it comes to shooting portraits. I feel like when someone is having their portraits taken it’s a bit like they’re naked. They are baring their true self to you in hope that you will really see them for who they are and be able to capture their essence. I too feel very naked when I shoot, like I pour my heart and soul into every image. I want to see people for who they are and to do that I have to let down my own walls. It isn’t easy to do, unless you feel really comfortable with someone. Anyways I poured my heart into this shoot. I’m a little nervous to share it because I hold it so near and dear to my heart but here goes.
