We are very excited to announce that we are expecting a baby some time in early May of this year!
I will continue shooting until about mid-April, at which time I will take a break until about July. We’re bringing some extra help on board for the photobooth as it will continue to run for the entire duration of my maternity leave. I’m looking forward to having some time to get back to my roots and shoot some stuff for myself! I’ve already got a million baby portrait ideas buzzing around in my head and plan to set up the studio before we head to the hospital so I can bring her home, and straight in for some first-day-on-Earth portraits! I’m so excited and can hardly wait to share.
In the meantime, Brad and I have been very busy preparing her room this week between photobooth rentals, photography sessions and of course, life. Last weekend we tore up (some very nasty) 20 year old carpets so we could lay down laminate (which I’m also very excited about since this will mean I can use seamless paper now when I’m shooting in-home!!) I’ll post some pictures of the changes we’ve made around the house as soon as we’re finished, but for now here are a few cute tummy shots we’ve taken along the road to parenthood. :)
