WE LOVE YOUR WORK!  HOW DO WE BOOK?

We’re super laid back and easy. First we set up a consultation at our New Westminster studio. If you are ready to book the deposit is $500, and we require a signed contract on file to reserve your date. After that you have 90 days to think about what package you’d like. Then we’ll apply your deposit to whatever package you choose, so there is no pressure to try and decide at the consultation.

WHAT IS THE PAY OR TRADE OPTION?

Money is stressful, and we’d rather be making art than crunching numbers. It makes people greedy. We avoid it where we can. Of course, like anyone else we have to make a living, but we are always open to the option of trading (or doing a partial trade) for equal goods or services we are in need of, or travel to specific destinations we’ve got on our bucket list.

Current skills & goods we are open to trading for:

Exterior House Painting
Carpentry (Building a new back deck)
CSA (Community sponsored agriculture) membership
Landscaping Services
Commercial space rentals
Professional Black/African hair services (braiding/haircuts etc)
(Post-Covid) Destination Wedding Travel to Bhutan, Japan, Italy, or Nepal, Iceland.

DO YOU BRING BACKUP EQUIPMENT?

Always. There will always be at least 4 cameras at any wedding with two photographers. We back up all of our files the same night as the wedding and regularly maintain those files for 6 months after the proofing session.

HOW MANY PHOTOS DO WE GET BACK?

Depending how long we shoot for we deliver anywhere from 400-800 images to our clients. A twelve hour wedding yields substantially more images than a six hour wedding. A good estimate is around 50ish images per hour.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET OUR PHOTOS BACK?

Our turnaround time is about 8 to 10 weeks to view the proofs from your wedding. Albums take anywhere from 10-12 weeks to complete as they are all handmade.

HOW COME NOT ALL OF YOUR PACKAGES INCLUDE DIGITAL FILES?

When you see photographer offering every single image from the wedding you are essentially paying for their time plus every single file, including similar shots and images you aren’t super in love with. We leave that decision up to our clients. You simply choose however many pictures you want and can afford be it five, fifty or five hundred. You only pay for the images you love. Of course we have packages available for those who want it all, and digital collections are always available a la carte if your package doesn’t already include it. You’re never limited to what pieces you can invest in; you’re just not obligated to make a minimum purchase.

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?

Absolutely, just not during a pandemic (though we’re both double vaccinated!)
If you love our work we want to work with you. Distance is not an issue, we have passports, but it likely wont be before 2022.
