Simon Fraser University Wedding | Diamond Alumni Centre | Jason + Amber

What could be cuter than two SFU students tying the knot with a Simon Fraser University wedding.

The day started out hot and sunny right from the early morning hours – a perfect day for a summer wedding. James and I started off the day at Amber’s parent’s home in New Westminster where the girls helped the blushing bride into her dress. Then it was off to St. Francis DeSales for a Catholic ceremony where we met the boys who were just finalizing all the final details and putting on their boutonnieres before escorting the bridesmaids down the aisle. James went up to the balcony to catch some awesome shots while I stayed down below to catch the action up close. After the ceremony we headed to the church garden for some family photos and then it was off to Burnaby Mountain for some group shots. We snapped a few photos in and around horizons but actually did the majority of our shooting up at Simon Fraser University where Jason & Amber were students. There was a fantastic mural up there which I think will be come a favourite spot for me to shoot at in the future. After the gang was all portrait-ed out we headed over to the SFU Diamond Alumni Centre for dinner, drinks, speeches and dancing, and of course some hilarious photo booth action. Amber & Jason not only opted to include the tickle trunk in their rental but also had a fun guestbook which featured some of the guest’s favourite images from the photo booth! It was truly a day to remember!
