Burnaby Lake Engagement | Monique + Jeff

How adorable are Monique & Jeff?! We shot their engagement session out at Burnaby Lake in October. I’m super amped for their wedding in 2013! I’m not gonna lie, I’m excited to make good use of those Star Wars Masks. :) Since it rains for so much of the fall, winter and spring we have to suck it up and shoot outdoors in the rain a lot, but to be honest I kind of like it. With a rainy engagement session you get really epic brooding skies and you can backlight the rain to look glittery and dramatic and I love that sort of stuff! Burnaby Lake was the perfect place to shoot Monique & Jeff’s engagement session since they spend so much time there, not to mention their wedding will be at the rowing pavilion in September!
