Need a little bit of inspiration for your upcoming beach wedding?
We can help! After our trip to Barbados last year we returned refreshed and inspired. We stylized a little table shoot to help give brides some ideas for table decor for beach weddings.
We started off with a simple palm leaf from the floral section at Michael’s. We cut the stem off to create a leafy place mat. On top of that we stacked a woven rattan charger ($10). This was followed by a cream coloured plate and a pretty pastel green dessert plate. To finish things off we included a carved turtle tealight holder ($5.95) from Pier 1. For the chairs we tied simple burlap bows across the chair backs and decorated each of the bows with a seashell. We decorated the table with seashells and driftwood from Michael’s. And finished by stringing up tiki lights from HomeSense to complete this beach wedding look.
This Barbados beach wedding theme was very easy to complete, and would be perfect for a small destination wedding in the Caribbean, or even for a themed wedding here in the city!
So where did we get it all from?
Palm leaves, burlap, Seashells & driftwood: Michael’s
Rattan Charger, plates, and turtle tealight favors: Pier 1
String tiki lights: HomeSense
Cutlery and wine glasses: Home Outfitters
