Global Love Wedding Photography Contest

Global Love! Contest (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest”) is sponsored by love tree photography (hereinafter referred to as the “Sponsor”.)

GRAND PRIZE: One grand prize winner will receive the following four prizes listed below.
1) One wedding photography package to be used anywhere in the world (airfare, travel charges & accommodations not included), full day coverage, basic retouching, proofs hosted on a private web gallery for 3 months, all applicable taxes); approx. retail value $2262.40 CND

2) One next-day “Rock The Frock Honeymoon Edition”. Up to two hours of photography, basic retouching, proofs hosted on a private web gallery for 3 months, all applicable taxes); approx. retail value $313.60 CND

3) One (1) ten inch by ten inch (10”x10”) hand mounted album (including custom layout and design, printing, binding, all applicable taxes); approx. retail value $554.40

4) One sixteen inch by twenty inch (16”x20”) gallery wrapped canvas of your choice. $420.00 CND

SECOND PRIZE: One second prize winner will receive the following three prizes listed below.

1) One (1) Two hour (2) engagement photography package to be used anywhere in the world (airfare, travel charges & accommodations not included), full day coverage, basic retouching, proofs hosted on a private web gallery for 3 months, all applicable taxes); approx. retail value $313.60

2) One (1) Fifty dollar ($50) non-transferable print credit to be used towards prints and enlargements through the Sponsor’s online ordering system.

3) Fifty (50) Save-The-Date postcards (including custom layout and design, all applicable taxes); approx. retail value $168.00

THIRD PRIZE: One third prize winner will receive the following prize listed below:

1) One (1) one hundred and fifty dollar ($150) non-transferable gift certificate to be used towards a photography session, prints and/or enlargements through the Sponsor’s online ordering system.

All federal, provincial and local laws and regulations apply; void where prohibited.

ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open only to individuals, nineteen (19) years or older at time of entry, who are legal residents of Canada (all provinces and territories, excluding Quebec). Employees of Love Tree Photography and its parent companies, subsidiaries or agents, their immediate families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse, and grandparents), and those domiciled with any of the foregoing are not eligible.

TO ENTER: Simply visit our website located at https://www.lovetreephotography.ca, click on the Contest tab, complete and submit your entry by following the instructions found on the site. All information provided by entrant must be complete, true and correct. Submissions to the Contest must be received by November 1st, 2012 in order to be eligible; entries received after that date will be deemed ineligible to win. Limit of one (1) entry per individual during the Contest Period. (If it is discovered that you attempted to enter more than one entry per Contest Period, all entries will be null and void.) All entries become property of the Sponsor who assumes no responsibility for garbled, lost, late, delayed, destroyed or misdirected mail, voice messages, e-mail or any computer errors or malfunctions. No correspondence will be entered into except with entrants requesting Rules by mail or requesting names of prize winner (for which a self-addressed, postage paid envelope must be included). No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.

RULES: 1) A random draw for the Prizes will take place at Love Tree Photography in Burnaby, BC from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The first entry drawn will be eligible to win the Prize. The odds of winning the Prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. Proof of identification must be provided upon request. Prizes will be awarded within sixty (60) days after winner verification. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. The Prizes may not be substituted, sold, transferred and may not be converted to cash. Prizes will only be awarded for the wedding date specified in the contest entry. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prizes in whole or in part in the event that all or any component of the Prizes is unavailable. Prize winners are solely responsible for all costs not expressly described herein. Prize winners are responsible for all travel costs, taxes and fees, as well as accommodations, taxes and fees for destination weddings outside of the Greater Vancouver Area. Valid only for wedding date as described in entry.

In order to be declared a winner, potential winner must first correctly answer, unaided, a time limited mathematical skill testing question administered by the Sponsor. Before being awarded a Prize, potential winner, and his or her fiancé(e), as applicable, will be required to sign and return a photography contract within the time stipulated by the Sponsor,  as well as a full release and indemnity form stating that he/she has read and understood these official rules and regulations (“Rules”), grants all consents required, authorizes the Sponsor to broadcast, publish and disseminate his/her name, city of residence, photograph, likeness, sobriquet and voice, in connection with any promotion or publicity, and/or for general news, entertainment and information purposes at no additional compensation to the potential winner, beyond the awarding of or participation in the Prize, accepts the Prize as offered and releases the Sponsor from any and all liability of any kind arising out of the potential winner’s participation in this Contest and receipt and use of the Prize. In the event that the potential winner does not comply with all the provisions as contemplated in these Rules, Sponsor shall have the right to disqualify potential winner, and draw an alternate potential winner and the Sponsor shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard. The provisions and procedures referred to above relating to selection and notification of a potential winner, if applicable, shall be applied, with the necessary amendments, until a qualified winner has been duly selected, but in any event, no later than 60 days or event date (whichever arrives first).

2) The Sponsor does not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, seeding or printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer line or network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Entry materials-data that have been tampered with or altered are void. If for any reason, in the opinion of the Sponsor, in their sole discretion, the Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or the proper conduct of the Contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond their control, the Sponsor reserve their right to cancel, terminate, modify, amend, extend or suspend the Contest and select a winner from previously received eligible entries. The Sponsor reserves their right to modify the Rules without materially affecting the terms and conditions hereof. The Sponsor reserves their right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of the Rules or otherwise in a disruptive manner. Any attempts to deliberately damage the Contest web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made The Sponsor reserves their right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent of the law. The Sponsor shall not be held responsible for any errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the Contest including any damage to an entrant’s computer equipment, system, software or any combination thereof, from downloading any material from the Contest web site, where applicable.

3) In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Contest Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest related materials, including but not limited to the Contest entry form, or point of sale, radio, television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of these Contest Rules shall prevail, govern and control.

4) By entering this Contest the entrants and participants automatically agree to accept and abide by these Rules. All decisions of the Contest Sponsors with respect to any aspect of this Contest, including without limitation the eligibility of entries, are final and binding on all entrants in all matters as they relate to this Contest.

PRIVACY: By entering this Contest, each entrant consents to the collection, use and distribution of his or her personal information (information that identifies an entrant as an individual, such as home telephone number, age and home address) by The Sponsor for the purposes of implementing, administering and fulfilling this Contest. The Sponsor will not sell or transmit this information to third parties except for the purposes of administering this Contest. All intellectual property, including but not limited to trade-marks, trade-names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source codes, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations are owned by The Sponsors and or their affiliates.
