HeadShooting some musician headshots / portraits and messing around with lighting in the portrait studios at Langara tonight. I’ve been taking some evening classes over at the college the past few weeks. Despite the fact I don’t shoot much in the confines of a studio I still like to take studio lighting courses and specialty lighting courses from time to time because I feel like the rules of light can be applied anywhere since it’s simple physics. Light only follows a predictable path. Once you know that path you’re golden! Laura Rosten was there to help me set up and assist on the set tonight (and I did the same for her while she was shooting).
