Vintage Travel Themed Brix Restaurant Wedding

With a passion for travel it isn’t any wonder that globe-trotters Konstantine and Livleen’s Brix Restaurant wedding was vintage travel themed. Guests received gorgeous custom made “passport” wedding invitations printed on luxurious pearl paper, a lovely introduction to the wedding.

We couldn’t have chosen a better location: the ceremony was perfectly situated in the heart of Yaletown, Vancouver, at Brix Restaurant, which is located within an old brick heritage building. The red brick & ivy courtyard set beneath an oversized and elegant chandelier was the perfect setting for the start of their new journey. Guests joyfully sent them off with a paper airplane send-off before they rejoined the party for their dinner reception.

As if Brix wasn’t already one of the most romantic restaurants in the city, these two enjoyed an especially cozy dinner at their sweetheat table; which was adorned with a bunting of all the places they’ve travelled, and flickering candle light. Custom décor included a custom “flight status” seating chart, table numbers with the countries they’ve traveled to, a “travel journal” guestbook, globes, maps, and little maps folded into favour boxes, all set perfectly against golden chargers and golden candlelight. Floral included divine bouquets of peonies and roses in various shades of pinks ranging from blush to magenta.

Their beautiful custom wedding cake also included destinations the couple has traveled to with the next stop being their honeymoon destination…Greece. Even their dessert table included treats from around the world including inspired sorbet, delicate pastries, and macarons.

This vintage travel themed wedding certainly gave us a case of the travel-bugs, and we wish this beautiful couple all the best on their most excited journey to date.
