Is there anything more awesome than Star Wars details at a wedding? Our daughter Tia doesn’t think so, but she’s definitely competing with Kerry for who is a bigger Star Wars Fan. What we loved most about Kate & Kerry’s LGBT wedding was that they made it all about themselves. They didn’t worry about having matching tablecloths or napkins, or designer shoes. In fact every detail they did have was meaningful to them. They wore their soccer cleats down the aisle since Kerry had proposed on the field. They payed homage to their favourite movie Star Wars with a deathstar on their cake and as their ring box. They even had their cats sit in for their wedding portraits. We love couples who have nontraditional weddings after all, it’s a party to celebrate your love, so why should you have to do anything you don’t want to do!?
