Couple’s documentary session at Burnaby Pitch & Putt

Do you dread the idea of standing in front of a camera smiling & being romantic for two or more hours? Us too. It actually sounds like possibly the worst thing ever. So lately we’ve really been trying to nix the idea of an old fashioned engagement session and replace it with a much more casual couple’s documentary session, where we just document a couple for a little bit, just hanging out doing stuff they enjoy together. It helps our clients get comfortable in front of the camera, helps us get to know them better so we can document the dynamics of their relationship better, but best of all, it’s actually fun.

We hit the Burnaby Pitch & Putt with Ryan & Angela in the pouring rain back in May to document them teeing off together. We actually golfed alongside them while we shot, which was a real challenge – especially since I have never actually golfed before (Brad has, though neither of us are pros …uh… or even amateurs!) We were really stoked for this shoot because we actually had this one in our adventure hat which is a new concept we’ve been working on for couple’s who have no idea what they want to do during their engagement session (we’ll be sharing more on this soon!)

Anyways – check out Ryan & Angela’s adorable golf session below!
