This is a boudoir album I recently made. I really love boudoir sessions; for me they have always been, and will always be about women empowering themselves through their sexuality. There are SO many issues around beauty, sexuality, femininity, self acceptance and body image that I cannot possibly tackle all of them in one post, but I can assure that as a woman myself, I really struggle finding my bearing in the world with a lot of them.
I’ve been doing a lot of work on myself recently to overcome some of the barriers I was experiencing around self love, and learning to love myself better has helped me to learn to love others more wholeheartedly too. I think seeing ourselves in images can really be a transformative experience. Seeing ourselves in such a vulnerable state, and seeing ourselves as beautiful in that state can really help us to unpack some of those past hurts in regards to body image, if we allow ourselves to be transformed by the images. I love these boudoir albums simply because they allow our clients to go back and do that time and time again.
